Yes, a very good game and I was glad to be proved wrong about the result (though England should really have sewn it up after the sin-binning). What a tackle by Warburton to stop that man-mountain Tuilagi - match-winning as it turned out. A draw would have been a fair result as England deserved something out of the game, but it's about time Wales had some luck at Twickenham.
As the commentator said, England really needed their charge-down specialist Charlie Hodgson

Well, I missed it yesterday so just watched it this morning - already knew the result, so wasn't really looking forward to it. However, I thought it was a terrific game, intensely physical (like all good 6N matches), great defence, some moments of good attacking play - all from both teams, who turned out to be more evenly matched than many of the pundits expected (though I suspect neither of the teams themselves expected it to be as one-sided as some had predicted).
Overall, I felt Wales deserved the win - mainly for the impressive way they dominated possession and territory when down to 14 men (ironically, rather reminiscent of some previous England teams). England's failure to score any points then ultimately cost them the game, I think. Both teams should take more positives than negatives - Wales showed maturity, accuracy and game management skills when needed, England showed that they do have some quality players and don't need to fear any of the other NH sides.

Yes, I incline towards that view as well. Very impressed with this new England team and it certainly was a cracking match (although I have to say it was a huge relief when the final whistle went!) I thought France were really lethargic and played dreadfully in the first 20 minutes or so, if they carry on like that against Ireland they don't have a hope. Stuart Hogg was brilliant on his debut! However I really did think that Scotland had a very good chance of winning initially - alas twas not to be as the second half progressed and France got their act together, whilst Scotland seemed to lose their momentum and wobbled. In the EvW and SvF....both Wales and France unpunished in the ruck and maul for glaring offenses....in 90% of set scrums props not binding properly....ref Steve wotsit only looked at scrum from one side....and for all his pertickiness over small things, missed the glaring knock on [it only bounced 10 feet forward after all] for the Welsh try....both great games....Scotland should get a special prize, I love to see their zeal and industry....just a shame once again it came to an L on the points table....bong chingComment
