I wonder what's cooking chez Anna tonight. My mouth is watering already.
Well, it's pork paupiettes with shallot, lemon and herb butter with roasted potato wedges and roasted red peppers, and, to complete the picture, whilst I juggle knives in the kitchen, I have on Dr. Robert & The Blow Monkeys Springtime for the Worldl And I have given away far too much about my personal life! I really should open a gastropub don't you think? Or did I mean gastopod? Anyway, I am offline until a lot later. Good puzzle mercia, and the cat agrees!

        Right my ever-keen Alphabetic Associators...

        What W connects

        A song from Lancashire

A grand lad from Yorkshire who gave the British premiere of a piece by Stravinsky

A composer who helped Luther to construct a new liturgy?

Got to it with a will!

Sorry to interrupt, but I just thought, OMIG, no-one has heard of Dr. Robert & the Blow Monkeys, so here they are

Apologies to all, see you a lot later, or tomorrow.

Feel free, Anna. It is always good to have you here.

Maybe you are connected with the W clues: are you the girl who could not get him to the altar?

I shall restrain myself to give someone else a chance to provide the solution.

Just home and are you watching your esteemed Duke of E on the ITV documentary? You have to like his style and his plain speaking
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
                Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

You weren't watching Shirl tonight, Am51?

The CBSO Concert was excellent, too. Haven't heard of Weller for years. I wondered what happened to him.

If no-one completes the W before I rise in the morning, I shall finish it off.

Yes, we've had the same W already but with different clues, although one was almost the same.

                              It's fun, Am.

Eric WALTER White perhaps? I love it when it goes seriously esoteric and weird.
