Well Anna has got Naples as the N common to all.

Riccardo Muti is the Neapolitan conductor with the broken jaw
Scarlatti (Domenico) wrote 555 sonatas - no one's said it, but he was from Naples too.
Element No 2 no one's got yet. Another Neapolitan, with a radiophonic first among his many notable musical achievements....

If no one's got it in the morning, I can oblige.

But Anna: you cracked it. Do favour us with a Thursday O

    "O O O O that Shakespeherian Rag....."
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
    Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Well, the puzzle is still not finished and I'm not sure that I deserve an O as hercule got the Scarlatti and I only got the Muti, and I'm still floundering with the last part so perhaps hercule can now finish it off?

But Anna, you got the connecting "Naples" as well.

It's Thursday so rubbergusset should be with us shortly, and may be able to help... I'm just intrigued to see if someone can get the radio-related clue

I am having to go offline now for a while. Is it permissible to set a mainly non-musical question?

Caruso (from Naples) and the Victor Talking Machine Company?

              (I don't want to set the O question by-the-way)

Indeed hercule. Naples-born Caruso sang from the Met in New York in 1910 in the first public radio broadcast to be transmitted in the US.

Anna already has O, fear not mon cher.

Do we allow her her largely non-musical one???

I'm sure we allow Anna anything she likes
                  especially if it's large

Actually, anton's last (King) was completely non-musical wasn't it? But I shall endeavour to compose a music related puzzle.

As long as it's to do with literature, cinema, food and drink, or anything on wheels, that's fine by me

Sorry, no off-road biking in this one, nor food or drink but certainly cinema, literature and a dash of very famous music. To widen the chances there are several clues, I am sure as it is so easy solving all the connections won't be necessary!

O That’s magnificent, but it’s a tragedy or two, shouldn’t someone else be here, she chimed in, a little late. Don’t panic if I acquire a green hue.

Oh.. I think I might have an inkling of this one.

I cannot solve all the clue elements, but is the connection Orson [Welles]?

                              EDIT

                              The Magnificent Ambersons
Macbeth, Othello (a tragedy or two)

The famous music being "Una voce poco fa" from Rossini's Barber (in Citizen Kane)
The Magnificent Ambersons is also a novel.

                                Great work, Taps.

The 'late' and 'green hue' elements remain.

I thought of "Touch of Evil" for the green hue (= the villain coming on stage in a green spotlight)?
