Yes that website was last updated in 2011 and their CD of Landini seems the last thing they have done.

An H in a catalogue, a singer from the Caribbean plus a scourge of them from Cuba (via Nigeria)!

That's right, so a logical extrapolation from that might lead you to the H in question!

                  No

I think there should be a limit on the questions asked - say 2 - in one sitting

a Carribean-born male (?) opera (?) singer who shares his surname (?) with two musical compositions which in turn share their names (and yet it is all the same word) with a mailorder seed/plant catalogue and a Cuban/Nigerian "scourge"

afterthought - unless the two compositions don't begin with H but are simply associated with the H singer (?)

The H can be found in a plant catalogue and is present in both the first name of the singer and in the title of the two compositions.

So, it's something like "Francois Honeysuckle-Weelkes", Haydn's Variations on "You Are my Honey-honeysuckle, I am the Bee", and Karel Goeyvaert's Honeysuckle Rose and Fell ...

Forced etiquette is a humorous association!
... but obviously not actually "honeysuckle" itself.

Precisely FHG - notwithstanding ALMAN: THE HONEYSUCKLE FOR BRASS QUINTET (HOLBORNE/ ARR. KROLL).

(There are no Hosties in Thompson & Morgan's catalogue btw.)

Hoorah! The Libretto is from the book with the same name by the Nigerian writer Wola Soyinka. Ms León also conducts.

The rest should not be too hard!
