Did the Boston symphony orchestra give the American premieres (probably under Boussevitzky, mercs )?
They actually gave the world premières, ams! I was surprised to find that the Messiaen and the Bax were premièred there
And anton shrewdly picked up on my 'cuppa'-'party' clue which I think alas may have been lost on Flay
