well there's a Sharon Davis who has set Emily Dickinson's I'm Nobody Who are You, for soprano & piano trio
and a Don Davis has written music for various Matrix films

not sure about OMF unless perhaps Carl D has written for TV series ???

furthermore, having set one question today, I really really really don't want to have to set another

              Smarmy beggar!

              Let me have a think...
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
              Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

                    No nocturnal takers...?

                    The sequence 1-4-3 is relevant...

This isn't the latest scholastic decision about the order of the movements of the Mahler #6 is it?!

No - but you're brushing against one element of the puzzle... unlike vindaloo....

So, presumably, the First Movement of the Mahler, the Fourth of the Brahms and the Third of the Bruch?

(My first thought was that E(major/minor) is the Dominant of the home key of the Mahler, the Tonic of the Brahma and the Relative Major of the Bruch - but that would be 5 1 6!)

Don't overthink it! It's a waste of mental energy. Nothing to do with keys!
