Chopin aside, there aren't that many composer Freds; like "John" (which I got wrong) I just took a punt.

What infuriates me is that all yesterday I got me Italian and German muddled: "alti" doesn't mean "old"!!!

Canti della stagione alta, Pizetti's Piano Concerto from 1930. ("High Season", not "old season"! <doh>)

So is it John Lennon, getting "high"?

Or you could leave on a Jet Plane if you prefer.

Your Pizzetti is spot on - do you know the music - rather pleasant!

No; I don't think I know any Pizzetti at all - a project for 2013, perhaps.

deffo cloughie, that anton can be a real puzzlemeister

I regard my personal contribution as being the AA laxative - I often dare to ask the simple questions that get things moving because I like simple things and my own puzzles are usually over in a fairly straightforward whoooooosh

Well you did rather roll over in front of mangerton's fish-supper-in-Anstruther offer to Anna Offer to show her your big grinder and conjour up something hot & steamy together*

You have no idea what might be going on by PM....

True ... and as I am unlikely to live long enough for the truth to out under the 30-year rule, would you care to share?

Indeed, PMs have been exchanged but sadly only about recipes I am now the proud possessor of an exclusive Cali receipt for pasta, smoked salmon and basil which will grace my table on Christmas Eve whilst the very same dish will be served at Chateau Calabrese at exactly the same time. So, that's rather romantic is it not?
