Oh an early morning toot!, almost right on the button from Anna!! The three answers are in fact identical to one another - no Sonatas or Maidens invoived!
It's too close to mess around: they all three wrote a Rain Song - I was thinking the German "Regenlied"... Reinecke's I think for chorus, the other two for solo voice. good skills!!! I think ferney may be working on his S... but maybe you're happy with your win, without having to set one?
There were indeed several Rain variations to choose from ..... No, I don't want to set one, will happily wait for ferney and his Sparkling S !! Also, not sure if I'm around much today
If Susan Boyle is SuBo what's Pete Doherty? (It has been asked)
Brilliant! Hadn't heard that one!
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."
