"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."
Come along now, this couldn't be easier, I'm sure we've had this before in fact.
For starters, the most famous Scandinavian piano concerto is by .....?
I'm sure that Calibs has the American bit
I know he has the Ted Heath Orchestra
Give me your May Day best!
I was looking last night at:
Whapsody on Blue
Grieg Piano Concerto
Ted Heath's Band
but could find no connecting W...
Are those the three elements then?
Is it a person? Is it a plane? Is it a bird?

Shame on me, I didn't even know Winifred Atwell was a pianist - I only know of her from the exchange in Fawlty Towers, where Basil is trying unsuccessfully to get some sense out of the Major: B - You remember I gave you some money just before you went to that remembrance service?
M -Remembrance service?
B - Yes.
M - I don't remember that, old boy.
B - It was for a chap you didn't like. You know, he was... one of those?
M - One of those what?
B - Well...
M - Pansy?
B - Yes.
M - (Looking round) Which one?
B - No, no, no, no. You were in your best suit.
M - Was I? Oh, yes, of course! I went to the theatre, of course!
B - No, no...
M - Yes, yes, with Winnie Atwell, yes.
B - (Startled) Winnie Atwell?
M - Well, Marjorie Atwell then, Marjorie. I always call her Winnie because... well, because she looks like Winnie.
B - She's not black.
M - Black? Churchill wasn't black.
etc etc...

The Major was a great creation, both script & perfect acting - Ballard Berkeley
The passage of time has clearly done little to quell the eccentric astronomer’s deep-seated feelings towards Germans, as he declared in an interview: 'The only good Kraut is a dead Kraut.'
Where's Cloughie? Sewing mailbags and planning his appeal?
