Ooh yes, gypsy cremes! Where did they go? Takes me back to me granny's, that does.

Vanished down the plughole of political correctness, I supposed. Traveller Cremes doesn't quite have the je ne sais quoi...

It was intersting eggjelly. His wife, who was the driving force behind his career that made him quite wealthy knew her man very well & wouldn't let his roving eye take over . Prog included ref to ther stand that George & Beryl took against segeregated audiences in South Africa just before apartheid became official policy - George kissed a little Black girl who had given Beryl flowers on stage & the poklice came round in high dudgeon with Rian Malan who told them that they couldn't do things like that. At this Beryl got proper blazing and told Malan to"Piss off uyou dreadful ittle man!" and promptly socked him one. Go Beryl!

Well you know any question from me will just be a google-fest on the first V that pops into my head

I should add, two of the elements are directly musical, the other very indirectly.
