I'm thinking Key Largo (leisurely tempo) but can't connect that with anything else...

Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."
Nope ... can't connect... Re: moods, thinking 'In a sentimental mood'... 'In the mood'... 'Mood indigo' .... No keys...

As for the black skater: not referring to race. Think (in usual Flay style , don't ask me why) about a pop song
So keys: major & minor...
But pop songs: I'm very bad at 'popular beat combos' ... being in the law an' all, and a learned friend of His Honour Mr Justice Cocklecarrot...
The only relevant thing I can come up with off the top of my wig is singer and producer Alicia Keys... but why roller skating?

Alicia Keys is to co-producert a Broadway play about black America.
The 30-year-old said she was "passionate" about Lydia R Diamond's Stick Fly because it "portrays black America in a way that we don't often get to see in entertainment".
The comedy tells of an affluent family who come together for a weekend at Martha's Vineyard in Massachusetts.
You were up late, hispi-chops!! Have a good night too!
Mr Flay looks to be online still... I'm curious to know the answer!!!
I guess I need to be thinking of an L

We were all up too late last night. Mrs Flay had been out for a meal with the girlfriends and I was Mr Taxi. They were too comfy and did not leave the restaurant until well after 12
< Gosh, I daren't ask! It might be stupid >>
Spot on as ever, Anna. As I said, it is not about race. It's all in a name. And a shining example of a K
Perhaps it's Anno Domini, but I find it increasingly difficult to discover when or whether a question has been answered and we're due another one...
I know what you mean. Here, I got one element quickly: Key West. We floundered for a bit and my latest shout was that the 'two moods' in the question meant that the second element is 'major and minor keys' - could you confirm if that is right or wrong, Flay?
For the remaining element, I suggested Alicia Keys which seems to be wrong: could you confirm, Flay? If so, we are still looking for that - it's a "name, and a shining example of a key"? Right?
