A should add that this is not a very intellectual clue, forged late last night after a few pints and football. One for the soul, another goes pop, One is about conduction.

No anniversary enlightenment in the matter of Flay's puzzle though...
I haven't got a clue... But I have got PRESENTS!"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Everyone else gets their birthday cake from Tesco (they do a nice chocolate caterpiller covered in Smarties, I'm informed by my recently 5 yo correspondent ) but not our Caliban - oh no, it has to be Konditor & bleedin' Cook
Have a wonderful day, Caliban!

Sorry, I should have made that clear K is one word that can be used as a noun and a verb. Being candid I could say that the name has been recently been mentioned elsewhere...
Oh, and Many Happy Returns to you, SuperCalibs (but not too many tax returns!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4b-Z0SSyUcwPacta sunt servanda !!!

Cheers all The day's going well so far, The Cake sits ready to be opened up to the gannets of this parish just after lunch.
Funny you mention happy tax returns, Mr Flay: I heard this week that I am having a healthy sum returned by the tax man due to making excessive provision for tax... Same thing happened last year too. Shall try not to spend it all at once
I can make no inroads into your K whatever save that Norman Lebrecht wrote an article called "When the Music Stops" about the recording industry... Any connection??"...the isle is full of noises,
