Yes, V for Victory: Victory At Sea - hardly a mini-series - the music for which was written by Richard Rodgers; Victory, an opera by Richard Rodney Bennett; and Victory Waltz, the last track from the 1996 OMD album Universal. It's hard to tell which of three elements caused the most offence, which indicates that I must have pitched it just about right.
I was pining, anyway, but the Faure helped. Now we must swift hide ourselves else the accent police will be upon us!
Too late! We are undone and castigated!! Flee, flee, the wrath of Vints! How do you do accents? I will willingly co-operate with the accent police if they tell me what I have to do
Oh... for the wings.... for the wings... of a dove

Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."
Fauré. Oh, enchanté. So, it works! But it needs me locking into number lock, gosh, never ever turned that on, I suddenly feel such a sense of liberation and freedom, to be able to effect an acute, instead of just being cute. This may be life affirming experience .......
Well rubbers, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I think our Caliban is rather lovely in his own way!
Thank you, Esmeralda

Anna I have a page of A4 which is pinned to my notice board, setting out all the shortcuts for accents. I shall try and append it to a PM as I don't think I can attach anything here
EDIT: PMs won't let me. Here are the main ones for general edification (there seem to be two 'ALT' options for most accents, save one or two):

Crikey, Caliban is willing to share his A4 page on his notice board with me .......... what more can I ask? Should I throw myself upon him and beg, beg, to be made a Ward of Chancery? He really is kindness personified, is he not? Oh, and is there a puzzle to be solved? Perhaps we should look at it before I go about strewing umlauts upon all and sundry?
