Laurent Grynszpan (namesake of the Child of Our Time victim Walther EDIT: should be Herschel) is a composer of a work with that name, and plays in the Duo Grynszpan with his wife.
A "projection" could be another name for a bridge.
And there's the famous "Dragon Projection", of course. (Poker-face stare: let no one know you've just made that up! )

The avian beastie is very straightfoward and does NOT began with a P but you do have to change the vowel to get the clue
