Just had a look at this, thought it be something connected with film titles perhaps? Something rings a bell, dimly. Edit: Norfy just beat me, I was thinking Peter Greenaway films

Sorry for the delay: there's a convention of Gas vans all along the street - apparently a thousand homes without gas because something's been blown over!
Any road up (and ours probably will be, soon!):
Yes, Louis Andriessen for all the reasons Norf mentioned: a B from your bonnet at your leisure, please.
(PS to Anna for mentioning Peter Greenaway!)Numquam Satis!

'Twas on a Tuesday morning the gas man came to call' - hope you're soon back on supply.
What 'B' links: a conductor who found fame under the limes; a violinist (and future conductor) who, when he joined the BBC SO, was its youngest member; and a film score by a French-born composer who died in the USA?

Just bumping this up, as I have to go now. We have Harry Blech and Leo Blech, correct? Nothing to do with Harry Lime and are looking for a French composer also called Blech? Just want to be clear (in case I become inspired later on this evening, which is unlikely, given what I is cooking)
