Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
      Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Liszt is full of hot air and usually crashes and burns.... but that's not relevant right now....

No, No, Nanette is known for the song 'Tea for Two' I don't think Led Zep ever made a cover version!

Arranged by DSCH as Tahiti Trot ... any use?

Correct for "Tea for Two". Now look for a similar (but slightly different) title by Led Zeppelin.

The Canadian composer of the middle item shares a surname with several other French composers.

                        This was the original:

No, no, it's a night at the opera or alone with an airship.

I missed it the first time, too, mercia. If there's a prize for the best-worded puzzle on this thread, I think subby wins it by a mile with this!

a recap. solely for my benefit

no, no = no, no nanette = tea for two
alone with an airship = led zeppelin = tea for one

leaving an (incomplete ?) night at the opera with tea connections by a Canadian composer with the same surname as several French composers

From the word linking the first two above and the additional clues Google will give the answer to the third (and it is not in Wikipedia).
