Oh! Is "The Honey Pot" the third element? I thought it was an alternative film... Yes it is... We're still looking for the first element of scb's question I think...

EDIT: I've got nowhere with the remaining one... Norfolk, can you assist????

Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
        Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

I did think he was on a sticky wicket! No idea, only thing that springs to mind is Honeysuckle Rose or is the American flutist/sax really obscure? As we have come to expect from Subcontra? Oh, sudden thought, pots of honey - Winnie the Pooh connection?

I think moderately well known in jazz circles. The album is simply called "Honey" and was his debut on soprano sax (he is better known for alto and tenor).

Caliban - the mystery saxophonist may (possibly) be 'moderately well known' in jazz circles, but sadly is totally unknown to me from the details provided. We could always wait until scb gets tired of waiting and tells us, then you can set your well-deserved 'I'!

Frank Zappa: Honey, don't you want a man like me? Oh, no flutes!
                        Edit: American Honey? By someone.

The link doesn't seem to work - it's Rudie Vallee playing 'Honey'
