Well apparently I was correct in my suggestion of André Previn, without an 'H'
Does any of the solutions to the 3 clues start with an 'H', scb?

Been chipping away at this since Ams got us the André Previn toe-hold on this vertical cliff face of a question, but even with the additional Rupert Brooke element, I can get absolutely nowhere"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Working further on this I get:
"The Four Horsemen", a song on Metallica's 1983 album Kill 'Em All
"The Four Horsemen", a song on Judas Priest's 2008 album Nostradamus
"The Four Horsemen", an Aphrodite's Child song from their album 666
The Four Horsemen (band), a late '80s / half '90s hard rock band from Hollywood
The Four Horsemen (rap group), rap group formed by Canibus, Killah Priest, Ras Kass & Kurupt
The Four Horsemen, sound-poetry group in Toronto, see Steve McCaffery
"Four Horsemen" (song), a song on The Clash's 1979 album London Calling
The Four Horsemen (album), a 1993 album by Ultramagnetic MC's
"Four Horsemen of 2012", a song by Klaxons from the album Myths of the Near Future (Also "4 Horsemen of 2012" from Xan Valleys EP"
Am I getting anywhere, scb?

"Taste of Honey" - movie score by John Addison?
I'm going to struggle with the saxophonist, and have to pop out now.."...the isle is full of noises,
