It was SCB who said << I can find a link between Steve Reich and Walt Whitman, but I cannot link it to Stockhausen. >>
so I cannot claim any merit.
Walt Whitman wrote "I Sing the Body Electric"
I find a reference to Charlie Schmid and his percussion ensemble 'I Sing The Body Electric' performing Steve Reich's 'Drumming'.
But lost about Stockhausen - he did much that was electric, I'm sure.Pacta sunt servanda !!!

I still cannot find anything to link Stockhausen to "electric" as distinct from "electronic".Numquam Satis!

So:
the link is Electr[on]ic:
Karlheinz Stockhausen's Studies
Walt Whitman's I Sing the Body Electric
Steve Reich's Electric Counterpoint
... back to you, methinks?Numquam Satis!
