Binchois is named after a village
Tournemire is the name of a village
Ducasse is a village festival
Gaubert is the name of a village

Wow! Sounds good. Look forward to the Verdict!!!"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Not a very good puzzle this time, sorry (and I shd certainly have used Three Choirs as a clue )
So many thanks, Flay

Nooooooo, I was just making a suggestion before walking the dogs (soaking, freezing, miserable & muddy). I thought Château Larcis Ducasse etc could be the answer, but I did not dare to give it as I have to get to work, I won't have the time.

Well, Vinteuil, I nominate you to do the next one as you fiddled the last one with your outlandish use of French in the answer. Well?Pacta sunt servanda !!!

Are those four names the names of actual individual vinyards then?
I'm bound to say I think Flay ought to do the next, on account of his tremendous insight in getting right to the point, but if Vinteuil wanted to do another for dabbling in yer akshul French, ça ne serait pas plus mal...

You have a most organised mind, Mr F, and I'm starting to find the key to it, by pulling out all the stops...
I think we are taking about ORGAN(geddit????)ist C-M Widor who was given a 'temporary' appointment at St Sulpice in Paris and stayed 63 years as organist.
That was fun!
