Well, I supposed I could devise an 'F' question, but would really prefer to let someone else have a go....shall we wait, or shall I think of something before the tennis starts?

      is 5 minutes long enough?

personally I'm not in any hurry for another question, and I'm not convinced that anyone else is playing

Yup, need to clean my glasses - I looked for op 114 <doh>

So I was wrong and don't need to do an "F"

                OK...
Musically, which 'F' links Iowa, Lincolnshire, St. Petersburg and Yorkshire? (The order is alphabetical, and has no other particular significance).

If it will help...'Iowa, St Petersburg, and towns in Lincolnshire and Yorkshire'.

Well, Fred Delius was from Bradford, and he linked up with Grainger in Lincs. He also lived in Florida, but I cannot see a connection with Iowa. I also can't see the St Petersburg connection... yet. Am I warm, or can I go and have my tea?

Oh, is it in the key of F? Dvorak stayed in Iowa and composed, something. Oh, maybe not!

They have a Dvorak Festival in Spillville, Iowa. But that doesn't help with the other places.

I think we'll need a hint or two.

Back here, gave the "E" a quick scan and not sure I understand - was it about the key of E ?

Stumped by F for the present.
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
                            Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

'The weather's fine, and when we get tired of the beach we can always pop in to the theatre and see the latest Alan Ayckbourn premiere'.
(Caliban: The previous question comprised opus numbers of works in E flat minor.)
                              It's the Russian St Petersburg.
