I was going to add the clue: The third is the brainchild of someone fishy who would like to poach something. The others sound watery, but I doubt if that fish could quite reach the first, and it would never be found in the second (unless dropped in).

First thing I did when I saw your clue was hit "Bruch Scottish Fantasy" in google to see if I could see any Xs at all....
As so ofter, I failed to take the last step and connect with MaX Bruch...
