        Gladly, vints ....

What C connects ,FucĂk, King and Rosas, amongst others

The C itself is not musical but there is a musical aspect to it, reflected in this puzzle

          Over to you now.
Sorry I'm a bit Calibanesque at the moment - can't devote too much time!
Trying the amster's C but there are too many Rosass and far far too many Kings for my liking and it's obviously not King Crimson!!

Is it an island, perhaps governed by Raul Castro?

when I put Fucik King Rosas into wikipedia's search box the top answer was Circus music, so I think I shall plump for C = Circus

                  Entrance of the Gladiators (Fucik)
                  Barnum & Bailey's Favourite (King)
                  Sobre las Olas (Rosas)

I'm sure I know the Fucik, not sure about the others
"Entrance of the Gladiators" op. 68 or "Entry of the Gladiators" is a military march composed in 1897 by the Czech composer Julius FuÄŤík.

a six-note chord for Anne-Sophie, a timepiece for Renee and a whole distant world for Slava

in the unlikely event that anyone should be interested, those works were Sur le meme accord (Anne-Sophie), Tout un monde lontain (Slava) and Le temps l'horloge (Renee)
