I would imagine that all of you now know the answer to this one. I will shortly be offline, possibly for the rest of the evening, so please do fire ahead with X, Y, Z or indeed A.
(Have just realised by senior moment a few messages back, when I claimed that "X" followed "V" in the alphabet... )
And the other question, Taps's.... Am I missing something, or is everyone being self-effacing? Isn't the answer Venice?
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."
Yes, a brace of Barcarolles (Chopin, Offenbach) and piano works by Liszt (RW:Venezia; La Lugubre Gondola I & 2; Am Grabe Richard Wagners; Venezia e Napoli ...).

Your "W", Caliban. (I've never been to Italy )
As usual, I have a feeling this is too easy but then it may turn out not to be, I no longer know!
A W unites two concertos which are known by their key signatures E and F minor, and two for the same instrument which aren't - one of the latter was by a lad with two other W connections: he was from Woburn Square, London WC.

So one is The concerto, for piano, by Richard Addinsell, and Chopin wrote the E (minor) and F minor concertos.
That leaves one concerto by an unknown left, and a place to fill in maybe. I've got another busy day coming up, so not going to say more right now. Maybe Friday will get easier!

You're two thirds there. Easy now, no? to get the W... ?

Doesn't quite fit, given the answer to the question.

You know you don't have to get all the three elements, in order to give the solution? I sense you have it on the tip of your tongue. Are you scared of the XYZ twilight zone? You can skip to an A question you know

if Dave is busy and doesn't want to answer, I'm happy to say Warsaw, but I haven't really looked at the question to see what's left in the way of detail
