I haven't much idea about Molly Hatchet either - I just reversed engineered everything to find a clue which related to the word I chose - Waterloo. I know that you are using google or similar, so if I make things too obvious, or just use my basic knowledge, then the letters would go down in minutes or even seconds.

I did check out one of my previous clues - Ethel the Frog - I suppose I now have to do the same with this band.
Having spent 30 mins or more (and failing) trying to get through to Virgin Flying Club I seem to have been subjected to quite a lot of "that kind of music" this afternoon. Generally I detest it. Possibly Molly Hatchet might be worth listening to.

I don't consider it necessary to like music or even be very aware of it in order to set clues.

Actually Molly Hatchet is a lot better than the rubbish I heard on the phone from Virgin. At least it is rather lively! Never 'eard of 'em before today, but they're on Napster, and probably Spotify also.

Mad ....

Because I must be getting addicted to this. I knew the answers (or found them v. quickly), and couldn't resist putting the details up, which I think means I have to set the A. Maybe I'll learn sense eventually and keep quiet!

I tend to type bits of the question into googleboxes and see what comes up, so it didn't take very long to find out about "Solti resigned". Once I got Zubin I tried "Zubin Medea" or similar things, and it just fell out.

No - not a pilot - just trying to claim air miles for a few flights. I believe I'm a member of said club, since when I tried to register again I got a message telling me I was already in it. I was told I could do all this on-line, but how can I do that if I don't know what membership number I have etc.? I just love it when modern systems divert you to on-line, but don't work because you don't have enough information to proceed. Then you go to the phone and you are told "We are experiencing a very high volume of calls today. Go online to ..... etc."

I have no idea if I've been getting the miles for flights I've taken in recent years, since I've no clues about my membership. Hence my desire to speak to a human being about this.
