You mean you have never been to Fenwicks on Northumberland Street? - worth a visit to seen the plaque of thanks to the aforementioned Lady Gould!

Well of course what took you so long - all 3, and Wiki tells me a few others, require this instrument that I had never heard of until I opened my Penguin Companion to Classical Music!

Y wait? - I am off down the road to the Marshalsea!

                omitting Y

                a Z to connect

a pupil of Perlemuter, a magic violinist and King of the Huns

Note for Angle: am about to hit the road north-west for a day and a night in your fair city... I hope we shall have a little Merseyside sunshine

Greetings to all. I wish I could slip in a quick solution to your Z, mercia... but I cannot!
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
                  Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

I think I could have a solution to Z but I've answered a couple lately, hopefully Angle or Dave may come along. Btw, what has happened to rubbers, is he another one on holiday?

Are you keeping your houseguests amused Caliban? Shame the weather has been so dismal.

                              Crossroad

can't think why I didn't google Ethel the Frog 2 in the first place
anyway, once I did it gave me a track list including Apple of your Eye
Apple Pie's debut album is called Crossroad
and Rossini's last opera was William Tell
