Er… no. I made an awful fool of myself while the other association thread was going at full tilt. I jumped in forgetting that I’d have to set the next question on this thread (at least I think it was his/her question I jumped at). So I’ve kept out of it but looking at how you go about it, my Googleholic has got t he better of me.

Looking in for illuminating relaxation and amusement after a series of meetings since this morning, and before another one at 3, can I chip in that the above seems to me to be an exemplar of a question - succinct, elegant, musical with a slightly (but not fiendishly) oblique character to two of the clues! A classic instance of the answer being hidden (and not instantly googlable) but once the answer is known, being obvious and provoking a and a " of course!!" (at least in this reader). Bravo rubbers and to the solvers!
