That DI Frost tried that on with me ...but I knew he was kidding. I don't think he ever recovered from watching Arkwright risk life and limb - well at least a few metacarpals - in his epic battles with the cash register.

Coincidentally, I see that is to be the subject of a future Discovering Music on R3

Well, rubbers and I were both wrong on the first one! However, I'll do the K I think it's fairly easy. (I'll be back in 3/4 hour)

A K that unites, but also in an alphabetical way:

A symphony for mixed chorus, dedicated to a world leader by an American composer
A 1914 commission, performed in the same year and played by the French Composer
One of the most famous ‘beat’ poet's work

The Bernstein dedicated to JFK who was assassinated on November 22, 1963, just weeks before the first performance of this symphony. The Ravel was commissioned in 1914 by Alvina Alvi as part of a set of two songs: "Deux mélodies hébraïques" and was first performed in June 1914 by Alvi with Ravel at the piano. The Ginsberg was dedicated to his Mother. Well done and now give us L

Alfie Boe, did he do a Prom once? He's crossover isn't he? I'm sure I've seen him, short and a bit toothy?
