"Peter stink composer" which took me to the quotation in wikipedia's entry on Tchaikovsky. - "Peter stank" or "Peter stinks" gave me nothing

I thought Peter would be the obvious way in. In fact I'm surprised it didn't immediately set the alarm off in Caliban's own beautiful legal mind, being one of his bete-noir composers along with dear old Franz

I'd love to know precisely what imprecations in my good name were being uttered by Mr Mercia

Not even going to try this time, Mercia, but it looks interesting. In fact, I am not going to be around for over a week being otherwise occupied at Gretna Green (happily, I shall be there as a guest only!), the Saddleworth Festival (http://www.saddleworthfestival.org.uk/events.html) and London for a bit of light relief.

Have a good week (ten days at least, everyone

Have fun, Angle. It's going to be warm, so I hope that casket of yours is air-conditioned!

I've never quite understood that Gretna Green thing. I thought it was just a running joke in old films. I shall have to consult the blessed wiki. Take care Angle. See you anon.

Angle, the Saddleworth programme looks interesting, I see (on a comedy note) Barry Cryer and Colin Snell are there, beautiful countryside as well I think. Enjoy! According to Wiki 1 in 6 Scottish couples get married in Gretna, hope your couple have a wonderful day.

Which 'J' features in (a) a song quoted in a suite by Eric Coates; (b) a song used in Peter Sellers movie in which you can also hear Vera Lynn; and (c) the title of a song recorded by one of the cast of 'Guns At Batasi'?
