Sorry, none of the clues begin with G
Element 2 sounds to be something to do with Henry VIII... but I can get no further other than the impressionistic guess that the G is Percy Grainger...
He had a complex and somewhat masochistic relationship with the ladies it seems .... and the flavour of dances and English historical tradition in the clues has a Graingerish feel...
