Not for the first time, I'm not quite sure what stage we've reached with the current question. Has it been satisfactorily answered, and if so who has the honour of setting the next? (I know it's not me ).

Nicely done, Mercia.
By the way, I really enjoyed the Turina set. The T options were many and varied and I managed a couple of connections with other words wihtout really getting anywhere before I sat back and let Turina surge into my mind.
Sorry Ofcar, right trade, wrong opera.
To round it off:
Caroline Unger turned Beethoven round to witness the applause at the first performance of his Ninth Symphony. She had sung in that first peormance.
Caroline Unger sang Zerlina in Don Giovanni, Mozart
Caroline Unger sang Rosina in The Barber of Seville, Rossini
And yes, I am sure she was a soprano but I also had noted that the Wiki entry described her as contralto. Just one more black mark for Wikipedia.
Up early? Yes, very, but I had an appointment at 9.15 and had to force myself out of bed. It was trather nice being out in the sunshine and wind at such an early hour. I might try it again.
Now the V is yours, to take your mind off Anna's place of sleep.
Best wishes to all on this lovely day.

Sorry about that, Mercia.
"Caroline Unger (sometimes "Ungher") (October 28, 1803 – March 23, 1877) was an Austro-Hungarian contralto." Wikipedia
"an Austrian contralto" Oxford Dictionary of Music
Only Wiki account of the turning around of Beethoven says she was soprano.
However, while Zerlina is a soprano role contemporary printed scores of The Barber tend to list Rosina as a mezzo-soprano role, the actual casting practice of opera houses varies widely. The role in its original key can be portrayed by both contraltos and mezzo-sopranos, and a popular transposed version is often used when a soprano is cast in the role. Singers of all three voice types have found considerable success with the role.
Yes, fairly confusing. Of what can we be sure?

Any other contenders?
Or is this already too tasteless for words?
But I imagine it's no more than 30 seconds..."...the isle is full of noises,

45 minutes: a Blair (a unit of time during which many words are spoken and much heat, but little light, is generated, and which subsequently proves to have been empty after all).
