Initially, before further clue, I was searching for Victorian Charities with the name Village in them. I came up with Village Home for Neglected Girls (In Danger of Vice)

However, the only famous graveyard I can think of is Highgate Cemetery but Mr. Google tells me no charities were formed there. However, he also tells me The Kinks recorded The Village Green Preservation Society. So, I think I will have to say that I am confident that someone else may throw some light on the final solution as I have absolutely no clue whatsoever.
