    Evenin' all.

    What no K ?

Anna: yes, the need to refresh the page is demanding and trying. Oh, for a bit of tweaking to make "chat" possible.

Caliban : had a good day at work?

Mercia: I hope you are much better today.

I have just eaten and might nod off.

I'm afraid I have various things pressing against me tonight (matron) and must needs depart.

Can I leave it to you all to sort out the L, if Simon is not forthcoming?

Indeed thanks, busier than anticipated but fun. Early starts this week too, so limited internetting...

I think Anna's right, it may get quiet here over the Easter break. It went great guns over Christmas but everyone was immured by the snow and ice - Easter's going to be a different matter weatherwise, thank heavens
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
            Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Oh, L! No L? After all this time ? Ah, well.

I doubt if anyone will appear before morning.

I am usually up by 6am. Best time of the day, being woken by birdsong, maybe the moon hanging in the sky, first cup of tea of the day is magic! But L seems a problem doesn't it?

I agree, Anna, that the first cup of tea is special; but at 6 am? That's not long after I have gone to bed. The middle of the night is about 9 and the early6 morning tea is about 11, or even 12. It's not too bad in thr summer but in thre winter it means that is going dark before I've got going.
I would love to live ordinary hours and I have tried everything but it just won't be for me. I almost envy you.

I cannot stand the silence, so I shall presume:

                          Who is the L:

a lady-in-waiting to the Princess of Aragon
                          the lover of Don Alvaro
                          a Beethoven spouse

                          Now, that one is easy.

I shall not be around much before 10 to say whether the responses are correct or otherwise, so it might be just a matter of getting on with it.

See you later, when the sun is high.

i'm surprised this L hasn't cropped up before

                            I'm hoping this is
                            Leonora from Il Trovatore
Leonora from La Forza del Destino
and Leonore, wife of Florestan in Fidelio

I doubt if any one will appear before 09.15 a.m.
