Have fun, folks. Off to the Wigmore with inter alia the godson for a concert given by the chap who'll be teaching him violin at his new school in September.

Chausson's 'Concert for violin, piano and string quartet' - love it!

    Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

It is a bit naff, Anna, but that's what the previous owner specced. I've had it almost a year now and the valley boys have yet to have their way with it, so looking good so far. Peep peep!

Which K, born in St Petersburg, married a famous soprano, and commissioned, inter alia, portraits of a President, an author and a journalist?

They're toppling like ninepins, tonight. Perhaps time to savour a more cryptic M, Don?
