...of the Sadler's Wells Royal Ballet, indeed.

Angle got the angle on Berlin first, which made leverage a bit easier but I think you get to set the J, Mercia.

Irving Fine: I have recordings of his Partita for Wind Quintet, Serious Song for Strings and his 1962 Symphony (the year he died).

I have quite a few old LPs of Robert Irving conducting.

Strangely, I don't think I have anything by Irving Berlin, unless possibly covered by a pop star...

Previous J's: Joseph, Juilliard, Jacob, Jacques, Joplin, Jerusalem, Jeremiah, Jenner, Jordan, Jupiter

I too am uncomfortable with such innuendo, especially with regard to small rodents

I can live without it and I don't suppose the course of Western Symphonic music would have been much altered had he not lived, but I suppose you could say the same about Barber, Hanson, Harris, Piston, Schuman and Schuller. They all wrote some great music.

                            male or female

                            - the number 271
                            - a dozen psalm settings of 1598
                            - a musical organization founded in 1936

the number 271 is either a bus route or a year
there is a French connection with the psalms?

no buses or years I fear
                                French-ish for the psalms
