    - a vertical line between spaces?
    May I join you in the Bar (with or without the umlaut)?

      I hoped that was going move quickly, Caliban.

      Your turn : C

      I shall look for the composers met thread later.

      Time for tea now.

        Sporting stuff, Angle, cheers! I need a little time to think up C. I had to set C last time, I recall - a whimsical number involving C-C-C-Coronation Street...

          Right, this was a bit impenetrable to start with so I've tweaked it, I think I've made it too easy but anyway, here goes: what C links an inspiring pair, Anton and Richard, who were given a bunch of fives 102 years apart; a bowling alley; and someone who said that if he listened to too much Wagner, he began to feel like invading Poland?

                      We seem to be getting more expansive - I make that SIX things that are linked.

                          Indeed, when you look more closely, that could be true. However, dinner calls.

                            The man who said he felt like invading Poland after listening to too much Wagner is Woody Allen and at that point I am blank. Hmmm, C.

                                Sadly, I can only find three parts

                                what C links

                                an inspiring pair, Anton and Richard, who were given a bunch of fives 102 years apart;

                                a bowling alley; and

                                someone who said that if he listened to too much Wagner, he began to feel like invading Poland?

                                How do you break up the first one to make two, Caliban?
