    R

The first of the first of the first - a composer - is indefinite, the first of the second of the second is attached to liquid and to the extent that the fourth of the third is of similarity to the other two at all - one should say here that the third is a Radio 3 presenter - it is not in the appearance but the sound.

It occurs to me that Lats may not be aware of this "tradition". It stems from Anna's request that a concluding summary (showing the answer and how the clues lead to it) be provided when a puzzle has been solved before the next puzzle is set. This was initially known as "Anna's Law" and this quickly became corrupted to "Coleslaw" in the cryptic spirit of the Thread.

I'm obliged to the Thread Historian for this summary - I was wondering the other day where on earth the 'coleslaw' thing had come from...!
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
          Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Oh Celine Dion is from Quebec as is pianist Louis Lortie and Ike Quebec is a saxophonist.

La Citadelle is the military/fortress old part of Quebec City.

I still don't know why the latter sounds like SA.

Many Salvation Army places of worship are known as "Citadels".

I see no one has any questions about my R question yet.

You could try to find what sort of liquid or the R3 presenter?

There is also a link between the three and Paul McCartney.

I'll take that as a yes but - better than a Ram butt!

                              Still no further forward.
