Martin Penny is/was a pianist? Now, was his partner a Viola Somebody-or-Other, or did his partner play a viola or did he partner a viola player in performance?

Viola Tunnard?
If that's correct, the 'W' clearly still goes to Angle, as he did nearly all the work, added to which I shall be offline from later today for a few days.

I am enjoying it the puzzle and the day and shall shortly have to go out but:
Martin Penny did a lot of work with Viola Tunnard (piano) but he also played with Cecil Aronowitz (viola) and they all played at Aldeburgh. I think I shall I go for Viola Tunnard. (It's all so long ago). I think they both played in Noye's Fludde at Aldeburgh (a very old recording of which I have, coupled with The Golden Vanity, but which I have not llistened to for years).

Hope the weather is good for your holiday, Anna. Have a good time.
Now for the W:
Undone, I go into sawmill for a baroness.
One who might have said, “Job’s done”.
One who certainly plucked success from a royal site founded by Ferdinand and Isabella.
One who took that and came back to take it again.
A superman who had close encounters and scored with inter-galactic strife.
