    How about:

Alexander Glazunov: Op. 30 The Kremlin, symphonic picture in three parts
Nikolai Myaskovsky: Op. 75 Nocturne: "The Kremlin at Night", whuch incurred Stalin's displeasure
Kremlin Ballet, began in 1990 with a performance of Macbeth, music by Kyril Molchanov, and for which the first performance in 1980 featured his wife, Nina Timofeyeva as Lady Macbeth.

You're the complete Special K, subcontrabass, Korrect in every detail. The Kremlin took over Rus from Kiev many centuries ago, or did it?

For you a letter that initiates the Left Wing

P.S. - I apologise for failing to respond to your earlier Kremlin suggestion, scb - I've just discovered it - a combination of failing eyesight and over-hasty scrolling caused me to overlook it, I fear.

Yes, it was the act of a Magician given little aid by his Court.

No, it was some way further to the East.

Leoncavallo wrote an Opera "Chatterton" based on the life of the Bristol poet
Leoncavallo also wrote "I Pagliacci" (The Clowns)
and Leoncavallo's German Opera "Roland of Berlin" was based on a writer Alexis who has a forest memorial ( Plaque, trail, pile of boulders) in Lehnin ( near Brandenburg Forest)
