No, but your dedication is commendable.

I was looking this morning! I thought Cali had given a clue - he said Blues and he was getting older - but you dismissed Blues - and perhaps he meant he was just genuinely getting older! (But he gave the little winky-eye, so I think 'tis a clue)

Well if he thought the answer was Blues then he was wrong.

But maybe I was somewhat premature in my dismissive comment last night. Calibs could have been getting warm in getting so cold, oh so, so cold....

Actually Calibs did say "colder" but I mischievously changed it to "older" when I quoted it

                        So it's not Bass either?

                        Bryars concerto for double bass

                        G. Prokofiev concerto for bass drum

& Daniel Schnyder concerto for Bass Trombone.

I'm out now until later this evening.

                            It is Bass, Tiggy!

The Bryars I was thinking of was the Bass oboe concerto (East Coast)

And the Schnyder was SubZERO, Bass Trombone Concerto (so maybe Calibs was getting there after all with his colder comment)

                            Which is rather good fun

I wrote "colder" but it mysteriously morphed into "older" in the quote in Flay's post....

                                Ah! *reads on in thread*...

Your clues always age one, Flay, so you were spot on...

Events prevented further warming-up or rejuvenation.

                                Well done to the 'hogger!
