The Jan Ignaz I had in mind was Paderewski who became PM of Poland. The rest is correct, well done Anton!

I saw Horszowski quite a few times in his late 90s at Wigmore Hall - very short, by then just shuffling but as soon as he sat down at thec piano, the years fell away. Quite extraordinary pianism

Found Dimitri Mitropolous whos has written a piano piece entitled Beatrice and also conducted Wagner (but not a skit? I only know of Anna Russell ). No link to sueing the BBC as far as I can see, so probably not the one.
