        Oh very good. And the Haydn connection.... was the symphony not named because the audience Miraculously escaped injury when a chandelier fell out of the ceiling? (Look no wiki - that suddenly surfaced from the mental filing cabinet...)

          Yes indeed it was (although it is now believed that it happened at the first performamce of 102, not 96).

          Apologies for the brief retort above. I was furtively fiddling with my phone in the gents...
