He did, indeed: I'd forgotten that.

    So, the Coleslaw =

    Three Young composers
    La Monte (The Tortoise, his Dreams and Journeys);
Douglas (co-founder of the New Music Ensemble "Dreamtiger" in the '70s)
Bertie Baigent, nominated for the BBC Young Composer Award at this year's Proms.

I presume somebody is Googling Musical Zebras at the moment? Hedgehog?

How did you guess........there goes my plan

I shall try to come up with a worthy question, to complete this alphabet, perhaps to rest it on a zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

(May take a while though I have a few things to do.)

        Sorry, revised question:

A Z to link no sound in the shadow of a jellyfish , an invisible monster in a sci-fi game and an allegory of human life in dance.

(No zebras were harmed in the course of researching this question.)

The Z is in the title of each of them. 3 composers represented here, one French, two English.

A darn nothing in response, hedgey.

Or should that be "A dam zero"?

Kenji Eno provided the Music for the WARP computer game Enemy Zero. Sadly, this short-lived compser wasn't French, but the game does involve the eponymous invisible monster.

Should we be looking for a "L'ombre de Meduse"?

                    Er.....Michael Nyman was also involved too ( e.g. Laura's theme ), he's a composer too isn't he?

Yes! (my French isn't too good, I always thought that was Medusa and not about his jellyfish ) Sound Zero Care to line 'em up?

That's a triple A result if you should so wish, but peeps might be wanting a rest methinks.

<doh>! For some reason, I was looking for two French composers and an English one.

                        And finally:

Michel Redolfi: L'Ombre de la Meduse, third section Sound Zero

For completeness: The ballet "Adam Zero" is by Arthur Bliss.

                            - sorry; I forgot to mention this.

You may be right that people want a rest from AA, but, should anyone wish, here's a little conundrum to tickle (I hope) the memory:

1st, Shelley's Prometheus Unbound; 2nd, Psalm 104; 3rd, Coleridge Sunrise; 4th, Donne The Sonne Rising. All associated with which A?

Well, there's a fifth text that I haven't included because it would give the game away. You might find it useful to think of Ralph Richardson?
