If you get stuck, think of another word for 'cowboy'.
Vinteuil has it but I'm not sure about the Doc - I think this is a re-appearance of our old friend the vaquero, americanised to 'buckeroo', who according to Copland had a H-h-h-h-h-h-holiday...

What's happened about Kevin's £200 grand? I happened to be in the company this weekend of a private client lawyer, and asked about the Kevin-Sally-scratchcard dilemma - apparently under the Matrimonial Causes Act, he's bu**ered, the winning scratchcard would be a 'resource' which would fall to be disclosed and taken into account in any divorce settlement in those circumstances. One up to Sal, up yours Kev...

Yup! Copland's 'Buckaroo Holiday' and the film 'Summer Holiday'. Vinteuil's 'Holiday Suite' clearly fills the bill, but the work I have in mind has a different second word. I'd like to offer you and Vinteuil the chance to get the decider by offering this clue: the third work is associated with my part of the world, and was written by somebody born close to the dwelling place of another regular contributor to this Forum (but not this thread).

Well...Sally is claiming half the £200K on the grounds that they were still married when he bought it, but the scriptwriters kind of set that story on one side yesterday. Watch out for three really cracking lines in Monday's episodes: I'll just say Carla/Krankies (ca. 1933), and Norris/Mayflies followed swiftly by Graham/Beefeaters (ca. 2043).

A futher clue to the third part of 'H': who would have been 98 later this year?

Yes! Now we just need to sort out who gets to set 'I' after that splendid team effort. I guess Vinteuil has a strong claim, as he got the linking word, one of the works concerned, and a valid alternative to a second.
EDIT: You probably guessed that the regular contributor to whom I referred was Suffolk Coastal, who I believe lives in Lowestoft, which was BB's birthplace.

o mercy me mercia mio - last time round you rightly won it but graciously handed it over to me - you can't go on doing this!

... in any case, I'm now going beddy-byes. If I is needed in the morning, I will be here...

Well, I don't care what has happened to Kevin's £200 grand. (You do realise it's all make believe?) On the otherhand, I have been glued to the latest episode of Silk!!

Silk was a bit rubbish this week, I thought!!

It was ok till the end of the trial (although that was a bit silly). But all the shennanigans in Chambers afterwards: They even forgot to follow through and say which pupil had got the job!

                                ... as for I -

What has this Sicilian got to do with this Englishman's take on the Mexican-Peruvian wars or this Frenchman's portrayal of America?
