Yes, a fine exercise from Anton!

Wimsey may, of course, not be on anton's card... We shall have to see. I have an A up my sleeve - not Agatha - as and when I get the green light. That said, I shall shortly be away from the computer for an hour or two...

Anna - The Nine Tailors is my favourite, a lovely winter read. It's all about snow-bound drives across the Fens and chilly landscapes. Great story. May I suggest you get a second-hand copy somewhere and curl up this winter with your cosy new heating system and His Lordship and Bunter.

It is of course correct fillet steak from Anna coleslaw from Rumpole - I blame Mercs who ducked W and I just happened to have returned to Clouds of Witness.

      Away with you.

Very good puzzle, totally bamboozling... I was nowhere... I dedicate this to the special person who helped get me where I am today *sob*

An A to link Ben Jonson and Delacroix with Pride, Passion and Dementia

(It's "you" Anna... In every sense... )

I'll be back in a couple of hours...

You and Mrs Gould may be... I didn't think I was, but perhaps you are going to enlighten me...

Oh, I know, I know!! Once bitten, forever smitten!
No idea of your A. It's not Cynthia .... oh, I was going to do something witty with that, but suddenly a burst of Stockhausen on R3 quite put me off! And, Volpone's off the menu (cf the badger thread), so I'm looking for proud maidens driven mad by the moon? Hmm, let me think ...

Well let me tell you Volpone's still very much in this game... it's the relevant Jonson element

If you could see the pyjamas I am wearing now (present from relatives) you too would be shy! I look like Rupert Bear in the trouser department!
Oh, are we thinking of Bad Boys?
On which note I'll away to bed ....
