      Nice try, anton but hélas

I'd go with the list myself ... Who makes lists, and of what, in the context of AA?

So am I. I was going with the lists thing but got sidetracked by the "31 categories".

Anthony van Hoboken known for his list of Haydn works. Is also a district of New Jersey and Antwerp.

                  Dancing refers to a ballet?

                  Carl refers to Carl Flink?
                  Henri refers to Henri Oguike?
Jacques refers to Jacques Heim or Garnier?

We need some more bones before we head for the flesh, hodge

                    No to all - I'm a vegeterian!

3 composers. I is in the title of each piece.

Carl Maria von Weber, perhaps? But, have you been taking instruction from cloughie as to Nul Information regardez les cluettes?
I'm not really playing, but could it be Henri Fouques Duparc?? But then I do not get the Jacques. So over to others to solve.
Edit: I will be so bold as to say Invitation is the I. But I don't know anything.

Clues enough for you to get two out of three Anna. A swift google or look in Naxos, Spotify would get you the third, since you have despatched with the dancing & journey part of the three title clues! Invitation it is! (You always know much more than you are willing to admit. )

Same title by Henri Duparc, and Aufforderung zum Tanz by CM von W, I suspect...

Jacques is a first name as were Henri & Carl & thus also because I do give quite consequential hints is "leaving" (a synonym, as journey is to voyage) in the title of the piece "invitation to ......"

by one Jacques ................. A French composer still alive, predominantly electronic music of the type "concrète". I'll wait
