    No doubt it is the sound of the grass growing.

        Time to wrap this one up?
        Brahms: the text "Denn alles Fleisch, es ist wie Gras" (Isiah) features in his Deutsches Requiem.
        Tom Jones: The Green Green Grass of Home.
        Ron Wood co-founded The Move, who had a Top 10 hit with.....?

          Thank you ladies and gentlemen. I am grateful for this opportunity to have another crack at the G, but I could not have done it without the fantastic dedication and support from Anna and mercs.

          Tom Jones - Green Green Crass
          The Move - "I Can Hear the Grass Grow"
          And Denn alles Fleisch es ist wie Gras (For all flesh is as grass)

          Well I have just found and munched some M&S Christmas pud found in the cupboard, best before 1/3/13. Delicious.

          I also found an Xmas pud dated use by 28/2/12. Now dare I risk that?

              Well done, Flay. Thank you for such a gracious acceptance speech. Your answers provide all the necessary coleslaw, except perhaps the fact Roy Wood co-founded The Move and then went on to become a member of Wizzard.

                      In order of appearance:

                      Symphony nr 38 "The Echo
                      Symphony nr 6 "The Morning"
                      Symphony nr 96 "The Miracle"

                      by one Franz Joseph Haydn.

                      I might take longer than 4 minutes on the next question....

                              Cherubini's opera, Ali-Baba or the Forty Thieves, is set in Isfahan;
                              Duke Ellington (of Mood Indigo etc fame) wrote a piece called Isfahan (part of his Far East Suite);
                              Gabriel Fauré wrote a song, Les Roses d'Isfahan; which is as far removed from "turbulent" as anyone could imagine.
