Speaking technically, properly-trained dentists do not pull teeth. The initially movement, once the appropriate forceps are firmly in place on the tooth, is to push the blades up into the upper jaw, down into the lower jaw. This breaks the ligaments. The next phase is socket expansion/breaking the buccal bone plate, as necessary. depending then on the root formation, some twisting, rotating or heavy-duty squeezing on the root by the forceps may be involved. Unless the roots break ... and that's another story.

            Everyone enjoying their luch?

I see that Monteverdi had some association with Mantua in Lombardy

But there appear to be several places on the planet called Mantua

              Am I warm?

"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
                  Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Is the Mantua in Lombardy the correct Mantua?

                      Yes it is (forgive me).

AA is just as grizzly as pushing and twisting teeth...

Cheers for that, Flay. I need concern myself no longer about Mantua Ohio, et al

I could send you a copy of my monograph Zen and the Art of Removing Teeth if you like, Flay

After my time, Flay but they do look a) a good idea but b) rather ... painful. I'd go for a decent bridge as an alternative, if that's possible.
