Yes, the 600-plus works are all by the same English composer.

I must go too, friends round for dinner

I get the composer Purcell, think I get George, but the military?
Anyway, I went to watch BGT, the most popular programme on tv that omits the word lesbian from the title!
Sorry .... I am frivolous, to say the least. Hope you enjoy your dinner

"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
        Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

He did indeed! But when I look again in the cool light of World Dawn Chorus Day, I realise that he wrote many more works... I

My head would feel so much lighter if somebody found my other two Zs.

Bernd Alois Zimmermann wrote an opera entitled Die Soldaten - full of military men I'd guess

Is the final Zimmermann Bob Dylan? But the song All Things Must Pass was written by Geo Harrison?

Now that I re-read the Wiki page I realise my error. I was blowing in the wind wasn't I?

I was never into Dylan, to me his voice was ugly and his songs interminable.

Shall we leave this behind? Care to start the Alphabet Afresh, Ammy?

I'd have been nowhere near it without all the help with Purcell but ....

What A's musical career encompassed a work of a sci-fi writer known to his family as Bertie, the brother of Mrs Whitehouse's least favourite public administrator and a life partner containing a motor vehicle?

I'll be going out for an hour or so soon and I expect to find some eager soul waiting expectantly with the carcass of this puzzle in her/his maw

Sorry to butt in, just rearranging the coleslaw. All Things Must Pass, the album, not the single, has one track written by Dylan If not for you and one Harrison/Dylan collaboration I'd have you anytime I have the cd and just checked the booklet. So Flay was not in error, just a bit muddled!
                                As you were .....
