Sorry to be so dense, but I don't really follow the trails that lead from the 'W' and 'X' questions to the respective answers.
What W links three cowpats? Wenlock
Which X links All Men Are Brothers etc? 11th (not 10th) symphonies.
Still, sbc and Anton seem to be on the same wavelength and having fun.

Has none of them been performed in Yarm, Yalta, Yarmouth, Yerevan or Yokohama on a Thursday in October on which the maximum temperature did not exceed 7.5 degrees Celsius?
Alternatively: have they all been posted on Youtube on a Thursday in October when the minimum temperature did not fall below 7.5 degrees Celsius?

Well, I was about to post Ovid, when suddenly, I realised it wasn't spelt like that!! Unless you come from Bristol.

We are looking for a closer relationship than that.

Arent we all, ducky! I had heard a rumour that this thread had shown signs of becoming a tad more approachable, but, not for the first time, rumour been done gone gottit wrong. I shall resume my proper station in life and leave you clever folk to your cerebral contortions.

Is the link the singer Esther Young?

related by marriage to Arne and sang at the premiere of Handel's Semele

oops just discovered she was married to Frederick Lampe who wrote the opera P & T

She was not married to Frederick Lampe. Otherwise very much on the right track.

It seems as if you have got most of the links. What I was looking for was just "Young". Spelling things out we have three singing sisters:

Cecilia Young, married Thomas Arne, composer of Rule Britannia

Isabella Young, married to John Frederick Lampe, the composer of Pyramus and Thisbe. She also created the role of Thisbe in this work.

Esther Young, married to Charles Jones, appeared in first performance of Semele (singing the roles of Juno and Ino)

I think mercia/hercule should give us a Z (or an A if he insists that Z is too hard).

                                oh well

                                what Z links

                                - Bolton Rowe
                                - Aesculapius Carboy
                                - Fulham Light Opera

                                ?
